Ghaith al-Omari (Executive Director, ATFP)

Americans for Peace Now (APN) and The American Task Force on Palestine (ATFP) invite you to our second annual roundtable event, presented by The Washington Center. The discussion will center around the question: "Can we create safe space on campus for discussion of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict?” Along with expert speakers from APN and ATFP, the unique roundtable format will include Israeli and Palestinian student interns studying in Washington, DC with New Story Leadership (NSL), current and former student leaders, as well as other interested students. Vocal participation by all attendees will be encouraged throughout the event. The goal is for students to learn strategies and tactics for creating room at their universities for an honest, balanced dialogue about the conflict.

This event is part of the "Peace Partners" initiative between APN and ATFP.

Dinner will be provided.
