News Summary:
Tumult on the Temple Mount still dominated the Israeli press with the PM asking the Attorney General to look into authorizing the use of sniper fire at stone-throwers. Netanyahu also announced steep economic actions by massively increasing fines up to NIS 100,000 to parents of minors who throw stones or firebombs.

PM Netanyahu will also be leaving to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin next week. Among the PM’s concerns is that Russian weaponry, intended for Assad, will find a way to spill-over and end up in Hizbullah’s arsenal.

It was also widely reported that Netanyahu will meet with President Obama on November 9 in Washington. On the agenda will be increasing military aid to Israel and the selling of advanced weaponry.

Although it is thought to be a largely symbolic gesture, the city council of Reykjavik, the capital of Iceland, decided to boycott ALL Israeli products. This is in protest of the Israeli occupation of the West Bank.
