News Summary:
Iranian President Hassan Rouhani told his parliament, while broadcasting live on state television, that "if America wants to go back to the experience (of imposing sanctions), Iran would certainly return in a short time - not a week or a month but within hours - to conditions more advanced than before the start of negotiations." This comes after Trump announced new sanctions against individuals with ties to Iran a day after officially certifying that Iran was compliant with the nuclear deal.
Mossad chief Yossi Cohen, will bring an Israeli delegation to Washington this week. It is thought that they will try to persuade US administration officials to amend the cease-fire deal in Syria to reflect Israeli security concerns, calling for clearer measures to keep Iranian forces, Hezbollah, and Shi'ite militias out of Syria.
Israeli police arrested Sheikh Raed Salah, head of the Northern Branch of the Islamic Movement, in Um al-Fahm on Tuesday. He is charged with incitement for his role in the recent Temple Mount crisis, spearheading campaigns such as, "Al-Aqsa is in danger." He finished a nine month sentence in January for a similar charge. The Northern Branch of the Islamic Movement was outlawed in 2015 after being charged with incitement and links to terrorists groups.
