(Also Maariv) The Justice Ministry said it would speed up the probe following into the case due to the media reports on the issue and the continued detention of the victim's cousin. Border Policemen involved may soon be questioned as suspects, Haaretz+ reported.
Also, Israel struck targets of the Syrian regime after errant mortar fire hit the Golan Heights for the second time this week. Palestinians postponed the first local elections in 10 years due to a spat between Fatah and Hamas. And, Maariv and Haaretz+ also discussed whether Yesh Atid party chairman, MK Yair Lapid, might replace Netanyahu as Israel’s next Prime Minister, as a poll this week suggested was possible.
