Add Your Name to Speak Out Against JNF-KKL Settlement Expansion Plans

Americans for Peace Now is part of an international coalition of organizations opposing the decision of the Jewish National Fund – Keren Kayemet Le’Israel (JNF-KKL) to start officially purchasing privately-owned Palestinian land in the West Bank to expand Israeli settlements.

We are writing to the World Chairman of the JNF-KKL, Avraham Duvdevani, to let him know that we refuse to legitimize or contribute to the expansion of Israel's settlement enterprise and the further entrenchment of the occupation.

Americans for Peace Now, together with five other progressive American Jewish organizations, sent a letter to Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas on February 23^rd urging him to revoke a Trump administration order, which requires marking products made in Area C of the West Bank (where Israeli settlements are located) as “Made in Israel.”

In a survey of 1,100 teens aged 16-18 who constitute a representative sample of Israel’s different “tribes” – secular, religious Zionist, ultra-Orthodox and Arab, Arabs are the group most feared and hated by Jews of all kinds. This view was expressed by 24%, 42% and 66%, respectively of secular, religious Zionist and ultra-Orthodox teens. Fully 49% of religious Zionists and 23% of secular Jews favored stripping Arabs of the right to vote.**
