The Cleveland Hillel Foundation will host Middle East expert Lara Friedman for a talk on Israeli-Palestinian peace efforts. A former U.S. Foreign Service Officer in Jerusalem, Washington, Tunis, Beirut, and Khartoum, Friedman is widely recognized as an authority on U.S. policy in the Middle East, Congress and the Middle East, and a leading expert on Israeli settlements in the West Bank and on Jerusalem.
